Town Hall

At the heart of the Town of Pelzer is Pelzer Town Hall, a place where neighbors are welcomed, questions are answered, and the work of serving the community happens every day.

Pelzer Town Hall is home to Mayor Chase Smithwick and the dedicated members of Town Council — McElhannon, Pellum, Shirley, and Waits — who work together to guide the vision and future of the town. Their leadership reflects a shared commitment to serving residents and preserving the strong sense of community that makes Pelzer special.

When you walk through the doors of City Hall, you will likely be greeted by Heather, our Town Clerk, or Laura, our Assistant Clerk. They help keep the daily operations of the town running smoothly while assisting residents with questions, records, permits, and other services.

Behind the scenes, our maintenance team — Mark and Clay — work hard to care for Pelzer’s public spaces, buildings, and infrastructure. Their dedication ensures that our parks, facilities, and town properties are maintained with pride.

Together, this small but dedicated team reflects the spirit of Pelzer: a community where people know each other, lend a helping hand, and work together to make their town a place they are proud to call home.

Pelzer City Hall is your resource for information about local government and the services offered throughout the community. We encourage residents and visitors alike to call, stop by, or visit during business hours — we are always glad to help.
